Michael is a Native of Nebraska City, Nebraska and now resides Spring Lake, NC. He is both a U. S. Navy and Department of Navy Civilian Retiree. He is married to the former Barbara Ann (Bobbi) Blackistone of Chevy Chase, Md. Michael and Bobbi have been blessed with 4 Sons, 1 Daughter, 6 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter.

Michael is a Founding Member of Proclaiming Christ Gospel Ministries having supported various activities. He has participated in many PCGM Bible Studies, leading the discussion when called upon to do so. Currently Serves as the Sunday School Superintendent.

Michael has been a member of several churches affiliated both with and without the U.S Navy since his childhood days. He has extensive prior experience as a Sunday School Teacher and Bible Study Leader. He has also been a member of several choirs.

Michael especially enjoys Bible Study and Teaching in both formal and informal settings. Michael and Bobbi are strong supporters of our Churches and various programs, especially those that support Veterans, Native Americans, and Animal Welfare.

He was Ordained Deacon November 2018 @ Proclaiming Christ Gospel Ministry.
