Daughters of Zion

Mission Statement

Daughters of Zion was organized as an outreach Ministry to help restore hope and provide opportunities for Women to come together putting their faith into action through serving hurting people through outreach projects.

  • Each year we will organize blanket making gatherings with a yearly goal (Example:100 Blankets) to supply blankets to nursing homes, hospitals, those needing Emergency Medical Services or the Fire Department.
  • We will be a helping hand to the Lillington Safe House for those healing from domestic violence by supplying blankets/or other hygiene items as needed.
  • Stuffed animals with words of encouragement will be a project organized for hospitals and nursing homes.
  • Several giveaway projects will be organized yearly to help those in need of clothing, food, or a hot meal.
  • Homeless Mission: We will make personal hygiene bags & give out any donated items from other organizations during the yearly give away & supply warm Clothing items to others organizations as needed.(coats, gloves, and hats).

Founded on Scripture

Our mission as a whole can be found in this scripture.

Matt 25:35-36 says: NIV35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

40 ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
